Last year saw Segall release First Taste, in addition to a 47-song demos box set.


Back in February, he and Lightning Bolt's Brian Chippendale released their debut album as Wasted Shirt, Fungus II. They take off for their European trek in March.Įarlier this year, Segall announced plans for his own rescheduled tour beginning in August of 2021. FUZZ will also hit Toronto and Montreal before wrapping up their North American leg in mid-February. This December, the trio will take the album on the road, making 32 stops in 28 cities, starting in Los Angeles before making their way to Vancouver's Rickshaw Theatre in early 2021. Today, the band have shared their first cut of the project, a song titled "Returning." You can hear it down below. Recorded and mixed at United Recording with Steve Albini, the band return for their follow-up to 2015's II, opting for more "primitive" and "essential" sounds, while keeping overdubs and studio tricks to a minimum. That record - FUZZ's III - arrives on October 23 via In the Red Recordings.
